High pressure over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region will continue to provide dry weather for Central Indiana today through Saturday.

Gray and seasonably chilly weather will be the story for the next several days as a stagnant weather pattern settles across central Indiana.

Expect mainly cloudy and cool weather for much of the rest of the workweek.

Light winds will make for a decent winter day under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast through Friday.

Today will be cloudy, with pockets of sunshine and highs in the low 50s.

Showers will be scattered across central Indiana later this morning and through the afternoon. Thunderstorms could develop early in the afternoon, with a few becoming severe.

Below normal temperatures will continue through the middle of next week.

Rain showers will continue through the morning hours before drier conditions move in this afternoon and evening. A freeze warning is in effect across all of central Indiana from midnight tonight until 9 AM tomorrow morning.
