Fatal Shooting in the 200 block of West 29th Street (August 2)

Just after 11:30 p.m. yesterday evening, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 29th Street reference a person shot. When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old man lying in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

IMPD Reminds Motorists About School Zones

Monday, August 1st is the first day of school for the Indianapolis Public Schools and many of Marion County school districts have already headed back to school or will be heading back in the coming weeks. IMPD, along with cooperating school district police, will be out enforcing school zone speed limits.
