13 Days of Halloween for the Family: Day 9, Scared Shrekless

October 27, 2011 by Brian Groce

For the ninth day of 13 Days of Halloween for the Family, we recommend Scared Shrekless. In Scared Shrekless, DreamWorks brings us another great Halloween special, this time featuring the Shrek crew.  If you enjoyed the Shrek movies, or liked Monsters Vs Aliens:  Mutant Pumpkins From Outer Space, you’ll enjoy this one.

13 Days of Halloween for the Family: Day 8, Garfield’s Halloween Adventure

October 26, 2011 by Brian Groce

For the eighth day of 13 Days of Halloween for the Family, we recommend Garfield’s Halloween Adventure. I recall watching this one air in 1985 and in subsequent years, and 26 years later I’m sharing it with my own children. Unfortunately this one appears to be out of print now, and a little pricey to purchase, so you may want […]

13 Days of Halloween for the Family: Day 5, Ghostbusters

October 23, 2011 by Brian Groce

For the fifth day of 13 Days of Halloween for the Family, how about a classic, Ghostbusters? Starring Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson and directed by Ivan Reitman, this comedy is always good for a few laughs. “Ray, has it ever occurred to you that maybe the reason we’ve been so busy lately is because the […]

13 Days of Halloween for the Family: Day 2, Nightmare Before Christmas

October 20, 2011 by Brian Groce

Nightmare Before Christmas Tim Burton‘s Nightmare Before Christmas is at the top of my personal Halloween (and year round) feature length movies to watch with the kids and listen to the soundtrack. If you’ve not seen it, it is a must for the whole family. If you have seen it, below are some additional items […]
