IHS to exhibit “Hoosiers Win the Pennant”
Guests of the Indiana Historical Society can get caught up in the fever of the Major League Baseball playoffs with Hoosiers Win the Pennant: Indiana Roots of American Baseball. The exhibition will be on display Sept. 9 through Nov. 15, 2014, at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center.

Negro League Baseball History event August 22nd
Baseball historian and famous author Phil S. Dixon of Belton, Missouri will highlight an event titled “The Kansas City Monarchs in our home town” Friday, August 22, 2014 at Martin University’s Gathertorium. The event, which starts at 10:00 am and is free and open to the public, will provide an intriguing look back at local Negro League Baseball in Indianapolis.

CBS in Indy moves to WTTV (Channel 4) in 2015
CBS Corporation and Tribune Broadcasting today announced a comprehensive, long-term agreement that renews their existing affiliation agreements and gives the nation’s #1 network a new home in the Indianapolis market on Tribune Broadcasting’s WTTV.
Under terms of the agreement, the CBS affiliate in the Indianapolis area will move from LIN Media’s WISH-TV (Channel 8) and begin broadcasting on WTTV (Channel 4) on Jan. 1, 2015.
