Cold, dry weather will end the week as high pressure strengthens over the region.

A quick-moving area of low pressure will produce some light snow across central Indiana this afternoon and evening, mainly across the southern counties.

Patchy AM fog and lingering drizzle can be expected today. However, there will be a break tonight before another area of low pressure enters the forecast area on Wednesday.

A wintry mix of freezing rain, rain, and possibly snow or sleet will result in ice accumulation and very slick untreated roadways and walkways this morning.

A warm front will approach from the west late tonight, resulting in some freezing rain and snow across the southwest portions of the forecast area Sunday morning before overspreading all of central Indiana and transitioning to rain on Sunday afternoon and evening.

Dry weather and partly cloudy skies will prevail through Saturday.

Temperatures will warm into the 40s to around 50 today under ample sunshine.

Expect partly cloudy skies the rest of the workweek and into the start of the weekend. Temperatures will briefly turn colder late in the week.
