Sun King’s 2nd Annual CANvitational September 20th
As Sun King Brewery returns with their 2nd annual CANvitational bringing more than 40 breweries from across America to the Midwest’s largest canned beer event on Saturday, September 20, the public is invited to a special brewers reception on Friday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Indianapolis Artsgarden. Sponsored by Crown Beverage Packaging, CAN’d Art will feature local Indiana artists selected to create an original piece of 2D or 3D art by using cans from the different breweries represented at CANvitational.

Negro League Baseball History event August 22nd
Baseball historian and famous author Phil S. Dixon of Belton, Missouri will highlight an event titled “The Kansas City Monarchs in our home town” Friday, August 22, 2014 at Martin University’s Gathertorium. The event, which starts at 10:00 am and is free and open to the public, will provide an intriguing look back at local Negro League Baseball in Indianapolis.

The Spaniard pulled away in the second half of the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on Sunday, beating Jorge Lorenzo by 1.803 seconds to win for the second consecutive year on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course and continue an incredible 2014 season.
