For days we’ve been talking about two potential solutions for the weather system today and tonight.
Overnight model runs came into good agreement on the southern, faster low pressure track.
This means chances for precipitation have dropped significantly, with dry conditions expected in the north and chances for rain in the southern counties this afternoon and evening and moving out of the area by 1 am.
There could be a brief changeover to snow tonight in these southern counties as the system exits, but any accumulating snow is now expected to stay south of the forecast area.
