This forecast is heating up! A heat advisory goes into effect at 8AM on Thursday as afternoon highs surge into the upper 90s and overnight lows stay in the balmy mid to upper 70s.
Before dealing with the heat, we will see thunderstorm chances this afternoon into tonight.

Confidence in strong to severe storms today is highest along and north of the I-74 corridor, but we cannot completely rule out storms further south.
The strongest storms could produce damaging winds, large hail, and perhaps an isolated tornado.
