Thunderstorms Move Across Parts Of Indiana
An area of showers and thunderstorms is moving across southern and central Indiana, storm motion is southeast at approximately 30mph. Gusts in excess of 45mph have been observed.
INDIANAPOLIS 7-DAY EXTENDED FORECAST
Today: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of rain and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. High near 75. South wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight: Rain and thunderstorms likely before 10pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms between 10pm and 1am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. West southwest wind 11 to 14 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
