Ensemble trends are pointing towards a low-pressure track further to the NW.
More consistency is needed to increase confidence, but this would lead to warmer temperatures and rain initially on Thursday before the arrival of cold air, high winds, and snow.
While the snowfall aspect of the upcoming winter storm remains quite uncertain, we are more confident in the dangerous cold afterward.
Expect wind chills below zero with the potential to be much below zero for much of Christmas Eve.
