Unseasonable warmth will continue today and Friday with highs in the 70s.
Winds will increase on Friday with gusts up to 35 mph.
A frontal boundary will sweep across the area on Saturday bringing wet and very windy conditions.
Peak gusts on Saturday of 40-50 mph are expected.
Dry weather will return on Sunday and continue into next week.
Winds will become breezy late Friday morning into Friday afternoon, then windy Friday evening into Saturday afternoon. The strongest wind gusts should reach central/southern Indiana mid-morning to mid-afternoon Saturday, reaching up to 43 mph.
As the winds increase, rain chances will also increase, with maximum wind gusts coinciding with us having received most of the rainfall we will get.
Rainfall amounts are expected to be under half an inch, the greatest in western Indiana.
