The transition from Summer to Fall will be dramatic as the last day of Summer will be hot with highs in the 90s and Fall will start off chilly with overnight lows in the 40s.
In between, a few strong and marginally severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and night. Damaging winds, large hail, and lightning are possible.
A strong cold front will bring scattered thunderstorms to central Indiana Wednesday PM.
Isolated severe storms are possible in the darker green marginal risk area.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then a chance of showers between 11pm and 2am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low of around 61. North wind 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. North northwest wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
