Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue throughout today, peaking overnight as a line of thunderstorms moves through central Indiana.
Some lingering showers are possible tomorrow morning, otherwise cooler and dryer conditions are expected for the middle of the week.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be prevalent throughout the day, however, the severe risk with these storms will be low.
The primary severe storm risk will be along a line this evening moving from NW to SE.
The main threat will be damaging wind gusts, with isolated hail and flooding also possible.
INDIANAPOLIS 7-DAY EXTENDED FORECAST
Today: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 3pm and 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 8pm and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low of around 68. South southwest wind 8 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before 8am, then isolated showers between 8am and 2pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 83. West wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. The chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 61. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Wednesday Night: Clear, with a low around 59.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 83.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low of around 60.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.
