Heat Advisory Today and Wednesday
Hot and humid conditions will return on Tuesday and Wednesday across central Indiana.
A Heat Advisory has been issued for ALL of central Indiana Tuesday afternoon and evening as peak heat indices will climb to 105° to 110°.
A Heat Advisory is also in effect Wednesday afternoon and evening for the southwest half of central Indiana with peak heat indices again expected between 105° and 110°.
Take plenty of breaks from the heat if outdoors Tuesday and Wednesday.
Slight Risk for Severe Thunderstorms
There is a SLIGHT RISK for severe thunderstorms today, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The primary hazards of these storms will be damaging winds, lightning, large hail, and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms will be most likely during the afternoon through overnight hours.
