MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE STORMS TODAY
Thunderstorms will be possible today across central Indiana, with a marginal risk of severe storms across the southern third of central Indiana.
The primary threat will be isolated damaging wind gusts, with some small hail possible.
Flooding will also be a significant threat.
The best chances for isolated severe storms will be 2 PM to 8 PM.
SLIGHT RISK OF EXCESSIVE RAINFALL TODAY
Showers and thunderstorms may produce occasionally heavy rainfall across portions of central Indiana today, especially central and south.
This heavy rainfall may lead to localized flash flooding and worsening of the current river flooding situation across portions of central Indiana.

A flood watch is in effect through 1 AM tonight.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers between 8pm and 10pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. West northwest wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. The chance of precipitation is 40%.
Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.
Wednesday Night: A chance of snow showers between 8pm and 9pm, then snow likely after 9pm. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
Thursday: Snow before 3pm, then snow and sleet between 3pm and 4pm, then rain and sleet, possibly mixed with snow and freezing rain after 4pm. High near 34. East northeast wind 6 to 10 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch possible.
