Well above normal temperatures, breezy conditions, and isolated showers are expected today.
Showers will be on the increase tonight and Christmas morning especially over sections north of Interstate 70.
Temperatures will even be warmer with record or near-record highs in the upper 60s.
The record high temperature for Christmas at Indianapolis is 64 degrees dating back to 1893.
Looking forward to the rest of the Holiday weekend and into next week, mild temperatures and periodic rain chances will persist through late next week.
The best chances for widespread rainfall will be Sunday night and Tuesday and Tuesday night.
Thunderstorms will be possible Sunday night and Tuesday.
Record or near record highs are again possible Monday and Wednesday.
