Indianapolis Weather Forecast for August 6, 2021

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon with the best chances north and west of Indianapolis.

Additional storms are possible tonight and into the weekend with gradually warming temperatures.

INDIANAPOLIS 7-DAY EXTENDED FORECAST

Today: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Southwest wind 3 to 8 mph.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers between 8pm and 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. West southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening. The chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 91. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Monday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 92. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

Monday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. The chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 93.

Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90.

Wednesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89.
