Indianapolis Weather Forecast for June 2, 2021

Rain will continue with up to an additional 1 to 2 inches through Thursday.

The heaviest rain is expected today which could lead to localized ponding on roads and low-lying areas.

A few storms could also include gusty winds.

Take it slow on your commute.

INDIANAPOLIS 7-DAY EXTENDED FORECAST

Today: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. High near 68. East wind 7 to 9 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 8 pm. Cloudy, with a low around 61. South wind 5 to 7 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. West northwest wind around 6 mph. The chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday Night: Isolated thunderstorms before 8 pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph. The chance of precipitation is 10%.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Light west southwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 86.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 pm. Sunny, with a high near 88.

Sunday Night: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 86.
