Very warm weather will continue today and Tuesday with mainly dry conditions.
Highs will range from the mid-80s to around 90° on both days.
As a cold front approaches the region, a few showers and thunderstorms will expand into the area Tuesday, increasing in coverage on Wednesday as the front crosses the area.
After a brief period of dry weather, low pressure will track across the Ohio Valley Thursday night and Friday morning bringing another round of showers and storms.
Cooler and drier weather is then expected for the beginning of the holiday weekend.
