Costco Removes Masks, Hogsett Doesn’t (Yet), plus Counterfeit COVID-19 Vaccination Cards

May 17, 2021 by Naptown Buzz

First, the good news. Costco removes face mask requirements!!!

May 14, 2021

Dear Costco Member,

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control recently announced new guidance regarding COVID-19 and vaccines. Among other things, the CDC now says that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask in most settings, except where required by state and local laws. People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

Based on this new guidance regarding vaccine effectiveness, beginning May 14, 2021, we are modifying our policy regarding face coverings in some U.S. Costco locations.

U.S. locations with no state or local mask requirements – revised policy

In Costco locations where the state or local jurisdiction does not have a mask mandate, we will allow members and guests who are fully vaccinated to enter Costco without a face mask or face shield. We will not require proof of vaccination, but we ask for members’ responsible and respectful cooperation with this revised policy. Face coverings will still be required in healthcare settings, including Pharmacy, Optical, Hearing Aid. Costco continues to recommend that all members and guests, especially those who are at higher risk, wear a mask or shield.

U.S. locations with state or local mask requirements – no policy change

In those Costco locations where the state or local jurisdiction does have a mask mandate, we will follow the state or local regulations and continue to require members and guests to wear a face mask or face shield. Children under the age of 2 are exempt. If a member or guest has a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, they must wear a face shield.

As before, our goal is to continue to provide a safe shopping environment for our members and guests and to provide a safe work environment for our employees, while following public health advice and applicable laws.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

NOT SO FAST, INDY!!!

However, until Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and Marion County Public Health Department Director Dr. Virginia A. Caine get with the program and “follow the science”, all Costco locations in Marion County still have to wear masks.

And unfortunately, every single Costco location is just barely inside Marion County, so what Joe says goes.

That said, it sounds like that may change this week.

We are hopeful about our city's continued comeback and anticipate recommending changes to current COVID-19 restrictions next week following the release of the new guidance for fully vaccinated individuals from @CDCgov. More: pic.twitter.com/xZ5QqBkkGe

Feel free to call Joe & Virginia to discuss the matter.

The Mayor’s Office can be reached at (317) 327-3601, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (M-F).

Dr. Virginia A. Caine can be reached at (317) 221-2301.

In the meantime, there are plenty of places to go outside of Marion County without masks.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN “THE SCIENCE”?

While Costco correctly does not require “proof of vaccination”, that’s a moot point anyway.

If you’re vaccinated and wholeheartedly believe in “the science”, you have little to worry about other than maybe a very small percentage of “breakthrough” cases.

Of the “breakthrough” numbers I’ve seen, if accurately reported (the CDC is falsifying COVID-19 Breakthrough data, so that does lead to credibility issues), you have around 1:47,500 chance of getting COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated. Your chance of dying from COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated is 1:475,000. In other words, breakthrough cases happen (like the New York Yankees & Bill Maher), though, supposedly, it isn’t very likely. I’m no virologist, so I can’t really say much beyond that.

FORGED COVID-19 VACCINATION RECORD CARDS

I’ll preface this with DO NOT FORGE A COVID-19 VACCINATION RECORD CARD!

It is extremely easy to forge a COVID-19 vaccination record card. The PDF and image of the CDC appointment card, which isn’t really proof of anything, is available all over the internet. As are thousands upon thousands of the cards people for some reason decided to post everywhere. I guess HIPPA is a thing of the past?

So far, I have been asked to see “proof of vaccination” once and was told that either the physical card or a photo on my phone of it would suffice. Seriously?! Anyone with image editing or graphic design software could crank these out in a matter of minutes. When I was told that I just had to shake my head and grin in bewilderment. What a joke. Maybe we can use photos of them to go vote or drive a car as well?

That said, refer to the preface of this section.

DO NOT FORGE A COVID-19 VACCINATION RECORD CARD!

If you think that’s not serious, the FBI thinks otherwise.

And local government agencies will come after you as well.

Accused of selling fake COVID-19 vaccination cards, Todd Anderson, the owner of the Old Corner Saloon in Clements (pictured here), is now facing misdemeanor and felony charges, according to the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). pic.twitter.com/B0jiXVsl8L

DO NOT FORGE A COVID-19 VACCINATION RECORD CARD!

NEVER FORGET, NOT EVERYONE CAN BE VACCINATED

Contrary to what the government and mainstream agenda-based media are throwing in your face, there are actually people out there that cannot get the vaccine even if they wanted it.

Why?

Well, because the vaccine itself might actually kill them.

Don’t take my word for it. Look it up. If you wondered why you had to wait 15 minutes after getting your shot, this would be it.
