As low pressure approaches the region today, precipitation will develop across central Indiana.
A wintry mix will develop with sleet and perhaps freezing rain mixing in with rain through the early afternoon for much of the region. This may produce a light glaze on elevated surfaces, but roads throughout the area and travel are not expected to be impacted.
Precipitation will transition to all rain later this afternoon and continue through early Tuesday before ending.
Easterly winds will gust up to 35 to 40 mph today.
Dry and milder weather returns on Tuesday and much of Wednesday.
Another storm system will bring rain and embedded thunderstorms to central Indiana beginning late Wednesday and continuing into Thursday.
