Areas of dense fog will result in the visibility being reduced to less than a mile in many spots through 9 am.
Motorists should be alert to sudden reductions in visibility, allow extra time traveling and allow extra space between vehicles.
The sunshine and warmer temperatures will return after the fog lifts.
More rain, possibly heavy at times along with thunderstorms are expected late Thursday through Saturday night.
