July 6, 2017 by Naptown Buzz

Indiana State Police sent this bulletin at 07/05/2017 08:42 PM EDT

Indianapolis, IN – Troopers are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Greenwood woman.

Just before 3:00 this afternoon emergency crews were dispatched to the 112 mile marker on I-65 in the north split for a single roll-over crash with entrapment. Upon arrival, first responders found 51 year old Alisa Wagner of Greenwood unresponsive and severely injured. Despite life-saving efforts by paramedics, Ms. Wagner was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators believe Ms. Wagner’s 2004 Chrysler PT cruiser ran off the road, struck a concrete median wall then continued into the ditch where it rolled several times. At this point troopers are trying to determine what caused Ms. Wagner to run off the road, alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.

Several lanes of I-65 remained closed until 5:00 p.m. while crash investigators were on the scene.

Troopers were assisted by the Indianapolis Fire Department, the Marion County Coroner’s Office and Indiana State Police Chaplains.
