Contractors plan to close the southbound Emerson Avenue entrance ramp to eastbound Interstate 70 this weekend for painting the Emerson Avenue bridge over the interstate. The ramp is scheduled to close at 9 p.m. on Friday (June 9) and open before 6 a.m. on Monday (June 12).
Recurring closures of up to two lanes of I-70 at Emerson Avenue (Exit 87) may be closed at the same time and during weeknights between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
During upcoming weekends, the northbound Emerson Avenue ramp to westbound I-70 will also be closed. Updates will be provided in advance and communicated to motorists using portable electronic message signs.
