Dave O’Mara Contractor plans to close one lane of eastbound and westbound Interstate 74 at State Road 44 Exit 116 next week for punch-list work for a bridge project completed last year.
O’Mara crews plan alternating lane closures on eastbound I-74 Tuesday (June 6) through Friday (June 9) from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. The eastbound I-74 Exit 116 ramp to State Road 44 will be temporarily closed while the right lane of I-74 is closed.
Traffic will be directed to use State Road 244 Exit 119 to return westbound on I-74 and access State Road 44.
The left lane of westbound I-74 may be closed at the same times for one day. The westbound ramps to and from State Road 44 are planned to remain open.
