Construction contractors plan to restrict traffic this weekend at the south side Interstate 465 ramps to southbound I-65 to repair a damaged storm drain that has caused ponding on the roadway during recent heavy rains.
Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday (May 19), the eastbound I-465 ramp to southbound I-65 will be closed. During the closure, electronic message signs will be used to direct traffic to U.S. 52/Brookville Road (Exit 47) and return westbound on I-465 to access southbound I-65. One lane will be closed on the westbound I-465 ramp to southbound I-65. Both traffic restrictions are expected to end before 6 a.m. on Monday (May 22).
