Just after 7 p.m. on April 12, 2017, officers with the IPS Police were dispatched to IPS School 58 at 321 N Linwood on reports of a walkaway student. Officers immediately requested the assistance of the IMPD Missing Persons Unit. Missing Persons responded and learned that 10-year-old Jacob Vebert was last seen at 3:45p in the classroom.
