TRIBE NOTES

THROUGH 10 GAMES: The Indians are off to a 3-7 start 10 games into the 2017 season, with four of their losses coming by one run. Tribe records through 10 games dating back to the 1998 season (the year Indy rejoined the International League) are listed below:

  • 9-1: 2014
  • 8-2: 2002
  • 7-3: 2008, 2007, 2004, 2001, 2000
  • 6-4: 2013, 2003, 1999, 1998
  • 5-5: 2016, 2012, 2006, 2005
  • 4-6: 2015
  • 3-7: 2017, 2010, 2009
  • 2-8: 2011

GOT THAT SWIPE: Elias Diaz stole second base last night, his first stolen base since Aug. 2, 2016, with Indy at Columbus. Diaz swiped exactly one base each of the last two seasons.

BY THE NUMBERS – 10/37: It took Max Moroff just 10 games in 2017 to hit his fourth home run of the season. His previous quickest pace to four homers in his career came in 2016, and it took nearly four times as many games (37) before he hit his fourth blast.
