Bloomington Man, Jamie Fidler, 40, Killed in Greene County Crash

Friday, April 7th, 2017 – 05:44 p.m.

Solsberry (Greene County) – Just before 8:00 o’clock this morning, a crash occurred on State Road 45 near Timber Trace Drive after a 2006 Ford F250 pickup truck crossed the center line. Once southbound in the northbound lane, the Ford F250 driven by Dawson Kinser, 16 of Solsberry, struck a 1996 Honda Accord, driven by Jamie Fidler, 40 of Bloomington.

Fidler suffered fatal injuries as a result of the head-on collision.

Kinser was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for a complaint of pain and a possible head injury.

This crash is still being investigated by ISP Trooper and Crash Reconstructionist Seth Parker.

All are Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law.

ASSISTING AGENCIES – Center Township Fire Department, Van Buren Township Fire Department, Greene County Ambulance Service, Greene County Coroner’s Office and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
