White River Victim Identified as 30-year-old Jenny Boltinghouse

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives responded to a call of a woman found in the White River.

On Mon., February 13, 2017 just before 11:30a.m., IMPD officers were called to the 2700 block of S. Harding on a body found in the river.  The callers stated they were fishing when they noticed a body in the water.  IFD and IEMS responded to the call, IFD Tactical Dive Team recovered the body from the river.  Indianapolis Marion Country Forensic Services agency responded and collected evidence from the scene.

The Marion County Coroner’s office have identified the woman as 30-year-old Jenny Boltinghouse.  Homicide detectives are currently investigating this case and are requesting the assistance from the public with this case.   Residents are encouraged to call the Homicide Office at 317- 327-3475, Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 262.TIPS (8477), 800.222.TIPS (8477), or submit an online tip at www.CrimeTips.org.  Information given through Crime Stoppers is considered anonymous.
