Devour Indy 2017 Runs Jan 23 – Feb 5

January 23, 2017 by Naptown Buzz

The inaugural Devour Indy begins today and runs through Sunday, Feb. 5 at more than 200 participating restaurants. Diners will be able to take advantage of three-course, value-priced menus, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.

Devour Indy serves as a combination of existing restaurant weeks – Devour Downtown, Devour Northside and Chow Down Midtown – to create one city-wide dining experience including all sides of Indianapolis. Partner deals are also being offered to area attractions and also at hotels.

Devour Indy organizers anticipate more than half a million people to dine at a participating restaurant. The original Indianapolis restaurant week, Devour Downtown, began in 2005 with less than 25 eateries. Originally developed by the Indianapolis Downtown Restaurant and Hospitality Association (IDRHA) in conjunction with the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association, the event grew to more than 90 restaurants in 11 years.

With the success of Devour Downtown, eateries across Indianapolis expressed interest in participating in restaurant weeks, which led to Devour Northside (formerly Northside Nights) launching seven years ago and Chow Down Midtown starting six years ago.

For the complete list of participating restaurants and menus in addition to partner deals, visit DevourIndy.com.
