The Pike YMCA is hosting the first HEROES HEALTH HOPE 5K at Eagle Creek Park on Saturday, November 12, 2016. A portion of the proceeds from the race will benefit the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation.
“This is another way the Y is serving veterans as well as the broader community,” said Monic Hill, executive director of the Pike YMCA. “We hope the race shines a well-deserved spotlight on veterans and provides a fun opportunity for families to exercise and spend time together.”
Registration for veterans showing a retired or military-issued ID at packet pick-up is $22 until Nov. 9 and $33 after that. Registration for the public is $40 until Nov. 9 and $45 after that.
