The Fishers Chamber Orchestra (FCO) will present its second annual Christmas Extravaganza on Friday, December 11th at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church located at 10500 E. 126th Street in Fishers. A variety of orchestral holiday favorites will be featured, along with the Lantern Road Elementary School Choir as this year’s special guest.
This festive concert will include God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Stille Nacht (Silent Night as performed by Mannheim Steamroller), Sleigh Ride, medleys of Christmas songs, selections from The Nutcracker, and an audience sing-along! The FCO brass section will also perform two special numbers including Handel’sHallelujah Chorus.
The FCO is a professional ensemble that varies in size for each concert depending on the repertoire in the program. For the December concert the total number of players will swell to the largest of the year at 42.
