The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold a public information meeting regarding the interchange modification and reconstruction project at I-65 and I-465 on the southeast side of Indianapolis, Marion County. This project is part of Operation Indy Commute.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide residents and project stakeholders with an update regarding construction related activities for the project, including noise wall placement. INDOT last met with the community in October of 2012 and since that time, additional evaluation and study have taken place in regards to noise mitigation measures. INDOT has approved an updated noise impact analysis report (dated June 4, 2014) which may be viewed by visiting the project web page www.IndyCommute.indot.in.gov.
