Jazz on Canvas – An Indy Jazz Fest Benefit will feature a collaboration among five of Indianapolis’ best painters and photographers and five of the city’s most renowned jazz musicians in an evening of original art re-imagined as inspired musical works. Guests will enjoy wine, beer, food and good company while they peruse the art and photography throughout the club. Dessert will be served during the performance, during which each artist will talk about the works that inspired the music.
Indianapolis-based artists Constance Edwards Scopelitis, Chris Pyle, Greg Huebner, Mark Sheldon and Rita Spalding, alongside performers Steve Allee, Rob Dixon, Kenny Phelps, Nick Tucker and Cynthia Layne, will be participating.
