The world’s leading streetball brand, Ball Up is giving players of the Indianapolis community an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to turn their passion for basketball into a true profession during the 2014 Ball Up: “Search for the Next” summer tour. Local streetballers are invited to Washington Park Court (3130 East 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46218) on July 6th to compete for a shot at the ultimate prize, a Ball Up contract worth $100,000 and a roster spot on the 2015 Ball Up team, awarded at the conclusion of the national tour.
Any skilled player is invited to the open tryouts at Washington Park Court starting at 11am to test their skills and compete for one of ten spots on the Indianapolis team. Once the Indianapolis team is filled, the players will compete in the main event, a head-to-head game against the undefeated Ball Up team at Arsenal Tech Gymnasium (1500 E. Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46202) at 6pm.
Families and guests of all ages are invited to take part in the excitement too, as they cheer on the Indianapolis team. Fans will have the opportunity to meet NBA All-Star players, celebrity guests and enjoy halftime musical entertainment.
