Courtney Force was Graham Rahal’s 2014 Valentine

I’m not big into the whole celebrity gossip scene, so I’m a bit late with the news that IndyCar driver Graham Rahal is now dating NHRA driver Courtney Force, as his relationship with former girlfriend, Laken Kurtz, apparently ended at some point in 2013.

Interesting I suppose, if you’re into that sort of “news”.

I would say it one-ups the NASCAR dating scene due to who their fathers are, but truth be told, NASCAR (1.35 million Twitter followers) is far more popular than both IndyCar (106 thousand Twitter followers) and the NHRA (57.5 thousand Twitter followers) combined.

I don’t know that this sort of focus is what either sport really needs to boost their fan base, but as they say, publicity is publicity. But I’m happy to talk about it if it brings some attention to both of these series, which are the fastest of the fast in America.
