Encore Vocal Arts Presents: I Hear America Singing at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church
Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 8:00pm

The season begins Oct. 6 with “I Hear America Singing,” a concert featuring repertoire that reflects and considers the diverse heritages of America. The singers of Arsenal Technical High School’s top choir, Techoir, will join Encore singers for the choirs’ fifth collaboration. From African American composers like Moses Hogan and Nathaniel Dett to Native American, female, and Chinese American composers, “I Hear America Singing” will bring the performers and audience together at a time when political divisiveness threatens to overwhelm that which unites us.

Tickets ar $18 for adults, $15 for seniors.
