Connect with your inner “Calm” every week at The Yoga Center

August 6, 2012 by Mel McMahon

Free meditation classes held at Clay Terrace every Tuesday morning

The Yoga Center invites you to find your inner calm amidst the daily chaos, by moving the Tuesday Meditation & Yoga class outdoors as a complimentary community class.  Beginning August 7, all are welcome to join in this meditation and yoga “Calm” class held from 7:15 -8:00 a.m. in the grassy courtyard area.

Through the practice of meditation, yogi’s are invited to reconnect with their inner core and understand how to be more present, available, and at ease.  Yoga has proven to improve flexibility, strength, and balance, while calming the mind and spirit through breathing and stretching techniques.

“We all live such busy lives and the Calm class is a wonderful way to start your day.  Mediation and yoga have the ability to center our minds and bodies so we can be our best selves,” said Heather Thomas, co-owner of The Yoga Center.
