Daredevil Frenzy at Monster Truck Show

Ramps, wheelies and doughnuts, oh my! Five oversized trucks fill the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand today for the Monster Truck Nationals, presented by Lucas Oil.

Standing more than 11 feet off the ground, these giant trucks compete in elimination style side-by-side drag races, wheelie shoot-outs and free-style contests where audience members choose the winner. In between heats, Transauraus, a 35,000 pound, fire-breathing dinosaur, thrills audiences as it crushes everything in its path.
Today’s competition is part of a 15 show national series with two shows that begin at 1 and 7 p.m. Admission is $5.
