DADDY at The Sanctuary April 28

April 17, 2012 by Naptown Buzz

Free Range Concerts is proud to present DADDY at The Sanctuary April 28. I cannot stress what an incredible evening of music this will be. If you were lucky enough to catch any of our concerts with Will Kimbrough, Tommy Womack or Lisa Oliver-Gray, you know what I’m talking about. DADDY is the full band play of these outstanding singers, songsmiths and musicians. Just ask Bart Chapman.

A word to the wise, February’s concert with the Tad Robinson band sold out before the show, so don’t be caught short-handed. Get your DADDY tickets today.

For those new to DADDY, here’s the scoop:
The band DADDY comes roaring up from Nashville, Tennessee, featuring prolific recording artists Will Kimbrough and Tommy Womack. Drawing on juke-joint blues, swampy-groove country and honest-to-god rock and roll, with stops in gospel and beat-poet territory along the way, DADDY has been hailed by critics and fans for electrifying live performances that embrace a wide scope of what’s great about American music. Alabama homeboy Kimbrough (2005 Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year) and Kentucky-bred Womack (two-time winner of the Nashville Scene Best Song Award) have a musical and personal kinship that flat out clicks. Featured with DADDY is Lisa Oliver-Gray, often mentioned as “the best voice in Nashville.” Do not miss this show—make a date now with DADDY!

If you haven’t been to the Sanctuary yet, you’re in for a real treat. Nancy Noel‘s art gallery puts real live music in a glorious listening room. Classy bar and restaurant at your fingertips. Nary a video screen in sight. It’s all about the music, baby.

Spread the love
